Tax Jean Candio provides tax preparation and consultation services, primarily serving the Haitian community. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and client portal, and how we use it.

Account details (email address), profile information you provide (name, phone, general address, preferred language and contact method), tax case information you submit through the intake form, documents you upload to your private case file, messages you send through the portal, and payment records. Card numbers are never seen or stored by us — payments are processed by Stripe.

We use your information to prepare and review your tax case, communicate with you about your case (including through WhatsApp when you choose), schedule appointments, process payments, and meet legal and professional obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

Your account, case, and message data is stored in a secured Supabase database with row-level access controls: only you and authorized staff can see your case. Uploaded documents are kept in private storage and are accessible only through temporary, signed links. Payment processing is handled by Stripe under its own privacy policy.

We share information only with the service providers that operate this platform (Supabase for storage, Stripe for payments) and when required by law. Tax return information is never disclosed for any purpose other than preparing your return without your consent, as required by IRS rules under IRC Section 7216.

You may request a copy of your data, correct inaccurate information, or ask for your account and case data to be deleted, subject to record-keeping obligations for tax preparers. Contact us through the portal or WhatsApp to make a request.
